In the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare, innovative solutions are the driving force behind redefining patient care, making it more accessible, personalized, and effective. At MoveUP, we are proud to be at the forefront of this movement, working in collaboration with Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, to reshape oncology care. Together, we developed a specialized application designed to support cancer patients on their journey.
In this blog, we'd like to share our perspective on the MoveUP-Amgen collaboration, the oncology patient application we have developed, and the transformative impact it brings to the lives of hematology patients.
The Oncology Patient Application
Our partnership with Amgen continues to bring about significant improvements in the lives of oncology and hematology patients:
"We started in 2019 when during an advisory board with different specialists in the field of multiple myeloma, we saw that there was a gap in the rehabilitation of patients after stem cell transplant. So during stem cell transplant, patients are in isolation for a long time, and afterward, they are somehow considered cured at that moment but still need physical revalidation. Nowadays, they have that possibility in the hospital or in rehabilitation centers linked to the hospital. But after this long isolation, a lot of patients don't really feel like coming to the hospital multiple times a week. Ideally, they would do the rehabilitation at their home or with a local physiotherapist. But then they don't have the knowledge of multiple myeloma because it's relatively rare. So we were looking for a solution."

Our ongoing collaboration with Amgen is a significant stride forward in our collective effort to elevate care for patients with MM and hematological disorders. By combining the strengths of MoveUP's digital health expertise with Amgen's profound knowledge in biotechnology, oncology, and hematology, we continue to redefine the patient experience for those battling MM and other hematological conditions.
Conclusion
The collaboration between MoveUP and Amgen is more than just a partnership; it's a significant step forward in the effort to improve oncology care. By leveraging technology, pharmaceutical knowledge, and a patient-centered approach, we're redefining the patient experience for those battling cancer.
